Help Vasile in the fight for his life!

Hi, my name is Mariana and I have set this fund for my big brother and best friend, Vasile Luchian.

My hope is to find support from the community to help him win his battle against cancer. A battle he’s been fighting for 2 plus years.

It all started when he’s been diagnosed in may 2021 with stage 3 colon cancer.

It was devastating as you can imagine but we wiped our tears and jumped into the fight.

Right away we packed and went overseas for radio and chimo therapy.

Eventually he had to have a surgery to remove the tumor which didn’t go as expected. A month in the coma and 8 additional surgeries to save his life.

Through all that Vasile stayed strong, never let himself get down, continued fighting to support his family and raise his kids. Only to find out 1 year later the cancer had returned. Vasile kept his hopes high and we all tried to follow in his footsteps. He found a really good clinic for treatment in Spain so he packed up agsin, got his family and off they went. They clinic actually succeeded in ridding him of cancer, but years of treatments and multiple surgeries have taking their toll on his body. He is now fighting for his life again because of holes that have developed in the little bit of intestines he has left. Time is critical and there are very few doctors that will preform the surgery he needs to save his life. Actually we searched what seems like the whole world just to find one that is willing. The clinic is located in Turkey and is giving us big hopes of a successful result. Expenses and the surgery will be in excess of $150,000. and resources are pretty much depleted. I feel like we’ve rounded 3rd base and headed home we just need a little help to get there.
