Vashti has been a kind and faithful friend to many. She has brought joy and smiles to so many of her friends and family. She lived in California for over 25 years, in San Luis Obispo. She made many, many friends and touched many lives with her kindness and joyful spirit. Vashti has been struggling with brain cancer for the past few years and has fought valiantly. She relocated to Manahawkin, New Jersey to live with her mom and dad for the past few years. Initially, this was such a blessing, and she was adapting well with a dream job and lots of fun with her family and boyfriend, Bill. Unfortunately, after a sudden and mysterious incident, she lost her ability to talk. Shortly thereafter, it was discovered that she had a brain tumor. Through many surgeries and exhaustive treatments, Vashti has fought, keeping faith, displaying an uncommon strength, and all the while maintaining an extremely positive attitude. Vashti's smile has always been radiant, her laughter contagious, and her sweet spirit so appreciated by everyone who's come in contact with her. At this time, Vashti's options have been exhausted, and she's coming to the end of her journey. With the blessing of her family and her now husband Bill, who has been by her side, providing devoted care, we are asking for help so we can provide Vashti with comfort in her final days and honor her with a memorial and services that match the love she shared with us all. Please, anything will help as the family has experienced extraordinary expenses in caring for her at home and setting up end-of-life support while planning a beautiful way to send Vashti off to her next adventure with the angels.
