Help Me Get to Ballet Magnificat!

Hi everyone! My name is Vanya Cano, and I’m beyond excited to share this opportunity with you! I’m raising funds to attend Ballet Magnificat’s Summer Dance Intensive, a program that means so much to me—not just as a dancer, but also as a follower of Christ.

Dance has always been my safe place.

Growing up, I often felt alone and out of place. Junior high was especially tough—I struggled with anxiety, low self-esteem, and feeling like I didn’t belong. But in the middle of all of that, dance became my escape. The studio was the one place where I could let go of my worries, express myself freely, and feel completely at peace. It wasn’t just about dance; it was about healing.

As I’ve grown in my faith, I’ve realized that dance is more than just something I love—it’s a gift from God. Even in my hardest moments, He has been with me, and when I dance, I feel closest to Him. It has become my way of worshiping, of expressing what words can’t, and of sharing His love with others.

That’s why this opportunity means so much to me. Ballet Magnificat isn’t just about improving as a dancer—it’s about learning how to use dance as a ministry. I’ll be surrounded by dancers who share my passion for both ballet and Christ, and I know this experience will help me grow not only technically, but spiritually as well.

I am so incredibly grateful for any support—whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing this with others. The cost of tuition, travel, and accommodations is a lot, but I believe that if this is where God wants me to be, He will make a way.
