Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to read our story. My name is Vanessa, and I’m a mom to four incredible children—three boys and one girl—who are my entire world. Christmas has always been a time where I try to create warmth, love, and memories for them, even when life feels heavy. This year, though, has been one of the hardest seasons we’ve faced. I currently live with my parents and my special-needs sister, and I am the only one working in our household. I do my best to hold everything together by paying all of the utility bills and helping with groceries, along with everyday expenses. I work hard and give everything I have, but financially, it has become overwhelming. Despite my best efforts, I’m struggling just to keep up with necessities. What hurts my heart the most is knowing that, because of these challenges, I can’t afford to give my children Christmas presents this year. My only daughter has a heart condition called Prolonged QT Syndrome, a condition that has brought fear, hospital visits, and constant vigilance into our lives. It has changed how we live day to day, and while we remain strong, life has not been easy for any of us. My children have shown resilience far beyond their years, and they deserve joy—especially during the holidays. I feel embarrassed even writing this, but I’ve learned that sometimes strength means asking for help when you’ve reached your limit. Any donation—no matter how small—would go directly toward Christmas gifts for my children and helping ease the financial strain we’re under. Your kindness would mean more than just presents under a tree; it would mean hope, relief, and the reminder that we are not alone. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser or keeping my family in your thoughts means just as much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping make this Christmas brighter for my children. With gratitude, Vanessa
