Help Vanessa repair her vandalized RV

Here’s the scoop of why we are looking to help our dear friend Vanessa with a go fund me!

If you know Vanessa then you know she has a huge heart. She is the type of person to give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She is a nurturer and a deeply kind soul.

Unfortunately someone greatly took advantage of her kindness and her trust. A friend in need reached out, letting her know his car was taken away by the police (expired tags) and he was booted out of his living situation. He asked if he could rent her R.V from October 10-December 1st while he got back on his feet. He agreed to pay $400 a month at first (this agreement was altered later, I’ll explain more on that shortly). He also agreed to bring the R.V. Back for the weekend of November 10th so Vanessa could use it for a weekend getaway she had planned for months. In exchange, he would stay in her home.

This is man who is a part of the San Diego music and fire community who Vanessa felt she could trust. He had always presented himself to be polite, kind and of healthy mind and body…maybe just a little misunderstood. She was kind enough to let him shower at her home from time to time prior to this, she would cut his hair, share meals, and just do the things a friend does. Up until he was in possession of her most precious asset, she had no reason to believe that he would ever cause her harm.

How he came to be in possession of her R.V. happened in a very sudden and rushed way. Her focus was surrounding the arrival of her sister who was coming to visit from out of state for the first time. She wasn’t prepared for his urgency for shelter, so many of her personal belongings were still inside the R.V. When he came to get it, they agreed to just meet up a few days later for her to get the rest of her things.

This is where things started to take a turn. As soon as he had the R.V. he went ghost. He was absolutely unreachable. He wasn’t answering calls, texts or DMs. He wasn’t where he said he would be. She and her partner drove all over on a man hunt. While driving around, she gets a message from him. He said he just needed a break from people. She then located him and the R.V. He was in bed so they agreed to reconvene the following day…again, he was unreachable.

Things just continued to get worse. When the time came for him to pay the rent that was agreed upon, he was avoiding the situation. She got him on the phone and asked how his money situation was. He told her he was having issues with his boss and inconsistent work, so she said “listen, I just want you to be okay, I want you yo be able to get on your feet without extra stress, so don’t worry about the rent. Just focus on getting in a better place”.

Two days later, he was to bring the R.V. back for a very special birthday weekend camping trip that we had all planned for months. He was granted full access to her home while she was to be away. He had been in contact with her the days leading up to this. But when the day came for him to bring it back, he was unreachable again. She attempted to contact him all day. He never showed up with the R.V. She had no idea where it was or where he was. Once again, she went driving around, hunting for him. This time, he was nowhere to be found.

Vanessa arrived distraught about this situation but was hoping for the best knowing her partner in San Diego was there to handle the situation if there was any updates.

Come Sunday, the RV was hunted down by her partner & repossessed. She got word that the RV was located and unfortunately it was in a state that she would have to wait and see herself. This man left the window open and the keys inside, to add more insult to injury.

What she came home to was devastating. The R.V. had been backed into something causing exterior damage. It was trashed & broken Inside and out. Broken/clogged toilet, ladder to go on the roof broken, side paneling on the outside completely missing, cushions stained/soiled, pillows ruined, all her belongings ripped out from the cabinets, wet, broken and destroyed, floors filled to the brim with trash, spilled drinks, rotten food, spirulina powder, sour milk, kitchen table ruined, the couch has to be entirely ripped out. It is beyond rescuing. One of the most disturbing parts of all was the overly abundant evidence of sexual deviance and drug addiction. There was a full size sex doll, one of those rubber asses with both holes, another flesh-light/masterbation sleeve, an ungodly amount of empty lube bottles….and here’s the big one, she and her partner also found meth and meth pipes throughout the wreckage. her once beautiful RV was destroyed inside and out. It’s not running properly. He had mentioned that he messed around in the engine without her permission. On top of it all, this man had managed to acquire $400 in tickets which have since doubled from her not knowing about them until parking letters came in the mail. She has tried to appeal them but they came back and determined she is liable.

After all that, come to find out from an old friend of this man that he was actually kicked out of his previous residence because he was addicted to meth & had a sex addiction in which his behaviors also led him to destroying her trailer & leaving his acts of sexual lude behavior apparent inside the RV. Vanessa is a good judge of character but it just goes to show we never know what people could be truly dealing with.

Vanessa is overwhelmed by all of the work that needs to be done, all of the repairs, all of the cost involved. A couple of us girls have been angry and heartbroken that this happened to Vanessa with no justice being served. It’s awful to see the unfortunate back-firing of one good hearted soul’s generosity. It just doesn’t seem right.

We couldn’t just sit back and watch her sift through the aftermath of all of this on her own, so we’re hoping to get her the financial help she needs to get her R.V. (Aka Dolores) fixed up.

We are hoping to raise $5,000 to help Vanessa repair the damage and pay off the parking tickets.
Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated & won’t go without big hugs and tremendous appreciation

Let’s get Dolores the RV back to her once beautiful state!
