Hello friends. I don’t think anyone has ever made a go fund me because things are going great. To be transparent, things have been difficult. After being laid off this summer, I signed up for unemployment and used my savings while I looked for work. As we know, with the economy how it is, and the nature of production, it’s been rough. No bites so far. It’s come to the point where I worked for 9 years as a writer and producer and now I’m looking for work as a dishwasher despite physical disability because I need work so badly. I apply every day and I’ve called in just about every favor. I’m so so deeply lucky to be surrounded by friends and loved ones that have been helping me out. I’m nothing without my community.

I’m asking for an amount what while cover my housing, my very expensive medical treatment and medications, medical debt and issues with my car.

I do this with honestly great embarrassment because I’ve always prided myself on taking care of myself but I need help. I need a cushion to keep me afloat until I find something stable. I’ll take just about anything right now.
