Update: on November 11th I took my round of iodine radioactive pill. This has not been so kind to me with the first night just feeling so off and then the next morning not being able to eat at all. It’s made me also super tired and all around fatigued. I just want to thank those that have donated and I really do appreciate it. As I still ask to share it or even word of mouth to friends, family co workers.

Facing thyroid cancer has changed my life in ways I never expected. Since my diagnosis, I’ve already had three surgeries, and now I’m dealing with new complications that have affected my breathing. Im needing to go to the Mayo Clinic for a second opinion, and I need to travel there for more tests and consultations to get the answers and care I need.

My appointments at the Mayo Clinic are scheduled for December 1st-3rd, and I need to fly out the Sunday before. The costs of flights and lodging are overwhelming, especially with everything else I’m managing. My cousin Kim and Missy will be traveling with me to provide support during this difficult time.

I’m reaching out for help to cover the travel and lodging expenses so I can focus on my health and get the specialized care that could make a real difference. Any support means so much to me as I navigate this next step in my journey.
