Help Vanessa Get Back On Her Feet

Donation protected
On Thursday, June 4th,  Vanessa was in a horrible car accident on her way to a peaceful #BlackLivesMatter protest in Milwaukee, WI. Vanessa has been a large part of the BLM protests in Milwaukee, naturally taking a leadership role on the first day and becoming acquainted with many other activists. After the crash, she was taken to the hospital where she was treated for lacerations, a concussion, and other injuries to her hip.
Her close friend, James Larson, died during the crash. He was a caring, bright, and kind young man that was an advocate for social justice among many other things. Vanessa did not know of his death until many hours later and was torn to shreds as she was asked to write a eulogy for him.
She has a full-time job as a Veterinarian Assistant but now because of the crash, she is unable to walk for some time and will not be able to work. She is trying to get back on her feet both physically and mentally after such a traumatic experience but the financial burden is proving to be very difficult.
Vanessa needs our support and love more than ever during this trying time. This fundraiser is to assist Vanessa with medical expenses, recovery, rent, and other financial issues that she is unable to cover because of her injuries.
