My name is Leonardo Velasquez, and I am humbly asking for help for my wife Vanessa, who is fighting for her life against a rare and aggressive stage 4 bile duct (liver) cancer that has already begun spreading to her lungs and heart.

Before life brought us together, it broke us both.

Vanessa lost her mother to breast cancer.

I lost my mother as well.

We met carrying the same kind of grief—two souls who understood loss in a way no one else around us could. From that shared pain, we built something beautiful. We found comfort. We found healing. We found each other.

Now, facing cancer again in our family has reopened wounds we thought had finally begun to close. Except this time… it’s my wife, my best friend, my partner in everything, who is fighting for her life.

This has been the hardest thing we've ever faced, and we are doing everything we can to stay strong, stay hopeful, and keep moving forward. We believe God creates miracles and when more or 2 prays he listens. We need all the prayer warriors to pray for us please.

Vanessa is the heart of our family. She is kind, loving, stubborn in the best way, and she has always been the one taking care of everyone else. Now she’s the one who needs help, and it’s not easy for us to ask — but we need support.
