It is with the heaviest of hearts that I am writing this. On the morning of August 6th, Elio passed away surrounded by his loving family. Elio was 15 years old and has been battling a rare form of cancer for 5 years now. In his 15 years on this earth, he has shown such a beautiful kindness and strength that is unmatched. Everyone who had a chance to meet Elio knows the world was a much more beautiful place with him in it.

The loss the family is feeling right now is unimaginable. Losing a child is something many of us can never understand. The pain and agony is too much to bear alone. His mother, Vanessa, has been off of work and trying to manage taking care of him in his time of need while also making sure his little brother, Enzo, is also being taken care of. The battle she fights every day to be strong for both her boys is painful, yet she wakes up every day ready to fight alongside them.

There's no words to describe what they are truly going through but we can help by taking away some of the financial burden through donations. The family is working on putting together his afterlife care plan and things are tight as you can imagine. Doctors bills, house bills and his service and funeral. Let's come together and help them take one thing off of their plate.
