Our prayers have been answered, Vanessa just received notification that she will be getting a kidney from a very generous anonymous living donor on August 4th!

Some of you may or may not know that my sister-in-law Vanessa was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease Stage 5 and she has spent the last 4 and 1/2 years on daily dialysis waiting for a miracle.

For the next month, she and my brother will be isolated in San Diego, CA for her surgery and recovery afterwards. They will both be out of work while she is recovering as Andrew will be caring for her. Most of their time will be spent in and out of the hospital.

Vanessa is one of the strongest people I have ever met and I am so happy she will get a second chance on life because she deserves it! She is truly selfless and has always taken care of others especially my brother so I am so glad it's finally her turn!

Prayers and donations would be greatly appreciated! We are asking for anyone's help with medical, travel, housing, and food expenses during this time so they can focus on Vanessa's recovery.
