Help Ananda Vanessa Brett Johnson Heal

Dear friends,

 

Our beloved friend Ananda, who some of you may still know as Vanessa, suffered a massive stroke on April 11th.

 

Ananda is presently receiving care at Mount Sinai Hospital, but they have a long road ahead. Ananda has lost much of their right side use and is struggling to regain their cognitive abilities. At this time, it is unclear if Ananda will suffer any lasting impairments. We are hopeful, given their steady daily progress. Nevertheless, we know that Ananda will require many months of intensive rehabilitation.

 

While Ananda’s insurance will cover a portion of this rehabilitation, we know we need to create a fund to get Ananda the care they need. Thankfully, Ananda has a large loving community.

 

We are reaching out to you in hopes that you will consider donating to Ananda’s wellness fund. We hope to raise 50-100k to support their recovery over the coming months.
