My name is Valinda, and I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help from others. Recently, I became very sick and was unable to work for over a week. Things took a turn for the worse when I ended up in the hospital for about two weeks. During that time, I lost my job, and now I find myself with no income and no way to provide for my son and myself. Without your help, my son and I will be put on the streets. I can’t bear the thought of my son and I losing our place, especially in these cold months.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward our most urgent needs—rent ($1100), bills, and gas—so we can keep a roof over our heads while I search for a new job. Every little bit helps, and your support will make a real difference in our lives during this difficult time.
