My mom's name is Valic Marsh. She's had a myriad of separate health problems that have caused her not to be able to work for almost 3 months. She had severe diverticulitis that she had been dealing with for about a year. She got her diagnosis in late June, though she'd been dealing with pain since last year.

We're asking for this amount because rent we have is almost up to 2k alone along with other utility bills that we can't avoid. Plus medical bills and other expenses. I know that we've all had a very hard year, and it's a lot to ask for charity, but we won't make it past the winter if we can't keep up the rent costs since they are going up more in the next year.
