Valiant Indoor Guard at Virginia Tech is a dedicated student organization composed of passionate individuals who share a deep love for color guard and compete at the collegiate level. Unfortunately, Valiant currently faces significant challenges in securing an appropriate practice facility. The team is unable to spin weapons at any indoor practice facilities on campus, which restricts them to the outdoor pavilion at the Marching Virginians Center as their primary practice location.

Practicing outdoors in this pavilion during the early months of the year is particularly challenging, as Blacksburg winter temperatures often hover around freezing. These cold conditions not only hinder the quality of practice but also increase the risk of injury for Valiant's members. In the past, the team has occasionally rented local gymnasiums for practice, but the cost of securing a full-time indoor space is beyond their financial reach.

We urgently seek your support in finding a warm, permanent indoor facility for Valiant's 2024-2025 season. A safe and consistent practice space will allow the team to train effectively and continue representing Virginia Tech with pride.
