Help Valery and her grandma to Reunite with Her Mom

Donation protected
My name is Valery Cordoba. I'm 14 years old. My mom was arrested by ICE the day of my school dance. When we were going to school, they surrounded us, told her to get out of the car, and arrested her. They hurt her hand in the process. If I could be honest, that was the worst experience of my life. They also offered to let me go with her, but I live with my dad, my mom, and my grandma. My dad was arrested before my mom, like a month before, and it was just me, my grandma, and my mom. But they took my mom, and I decided not to go with her because I had to be with my grandma. She doesn't work and needs my help.

After what happened with my mom, our landlord evicted us. He sent us a demand paper when he knew that it was now just me and my grandma. He knew that we didn't work and didn't have the money to pay the rent, but we couldn't live there anymore. I had nightmares for a week, so we had to move to my cousin's living room. They have helped us, but their landlord doesn't let them have other people living there, so we have to hide from him because he also lives there.

I've tried my best to help my mom get out, but to be honest, there's not much a 14-year-old can do without a job but my mom for 14 years have done everything for me she stop caring about herself to care about me and I'm forever grateful for that and I would do anything for her to have her freedom back because she deserves it . A lawyer also robbed us of $500. He played with my feelings, saying he was going to help my mom get out. She is not a criminal; she is the best woman alive. She never left me; she has always been there for me, and she is my life. I can't live without her. All I want is a hug from her. She is way stronger than I am. She taught me to be independent, and thanks to her, today I'm able to help her. Thanks to her, I am who I am. When people ask me why I'm so smart, all I can think about is all the things she taught me.

Thanks to God, today I have a lawyer for her for free, but I don't have the money for the bail, and that is why I'm here telling you guys my story. It's not easy to tell. My grandma and I depend on my mom, so hopefully, my story touches your hearts so you guys can help me and my mom to get her out so she can be with me, and I can hug her one more time. Thanks to everyone for listening to my story. I believe in God that my mom is getting out.
