Hello my name is Valerie I am homeless and newly disabled I have not started receiving disability benefits and looking for a place I can call my home to start my home care with nurses and other staff. I have never been in a situation like that and I know I have been asking for help for rides and a place to stay. I did apply for housing assistance and now have to come up with the money to give a deposit and first months rent turn on utilities buy things that I need for the apt. Anything even a $1 is greatly appreciated I don't plan on being in this situation forever but for now this is the game I was dealt and I try and live one day at a time. I have lost everything I have one pair of house shoes one pair of sandals I cannot wear since I'm a fall risk I have two nights owns and a few items of clothing that was given to my by Kingsway Church. I have diagnosed with chronic cellulitis, heart failure, lymphedema, now fibromyalgia, and something called RA. I was in and out of the hospital the past four months please share my story and for those that do not like Drs please go get checked. Thank you
