Help Valerie During this Tragic Time

Val has always been known and loved for her kind heart and selflessness. She is always there to listen and has never hesitated to help others. Now it’s time to help her and her husband Wally and kids. Val was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer in the Brain a couple days ago and has a very deadly infection of diverticulitis. She is currently having emergency surgery of the colon. The hardest thing knowing is this is life or death situation. And we know her metastatic breast cancer is stage 4 and she won’t be around long. She was in the process of retiring and she won’t be able to enjoy it anymore. It’s absolutely heart breaking to know this. Some of her medicines she is on currently aren’t covered by insurance, medical bills don’t ever go away and those are going to keep stacking up. The drives back and forth to hospitals are a lot and now Val will need to be here at Mayo for at least 3 weeks. Figuring out food and housing for that long will add up. But we also want to relief Val and Wally of all those medical bills and medicines that aren’t covered and other expenses that will arise during this. Anything will help. We all know how giving Val is. Now we to need return the favor for her. We will keep the updates coming as we know what’s going on.
