La storia di Valeria
Valeria è nata il 27 settembre 2013 attualmente vive a Roma. La sua infanzia è stata segnata da una sfida che avrebbe potuto piegare molti: nel novembre del 2022, a causa delle complicazioni legate a un osteosarcoma, le è stata amputata la gamba destra sopra il ginocchio.
Di fronte a questa realtà difficile, la prima sensazione è stata un naturale sconforto, ma Valeria non si è lasciata abbattere. Al contrario, ha trovato in quel momento di vulnerabilità la forza per affrontare immediatamente la strada della riabilitazione.
Con tanta determinazione, Valeria ha saputo reagire alla malattia con coraggio e pazienza. Queste qualità le hanno permesso di adattarsi alla sua nuova condizione con un grande senso di responsabilità, senza mai rinunciare alla voglia di vivere pienamente ogni momento.
La famiglia di Valeria si è stretta attorno a lei con affetto e solidarietà, cercando insieme di ristabilire un nuovo equilibrio e sostenendola in ogni passo del suo percorso. La sua tenacia è uno specchio della forza di tutti loro, che non smettono mai di ricordarle quanto sia importante credere nei propri sogni. Perché, come Valeria ha imparato a dire, se credi davvero in un sogno, puoi trasformarlo in realtà e vivere la vita al massimo.
Valeria ha bisogno di protesi che vanno aggiornate finché lo sviluppo non è terminato, per camminare, per fare sport e per poter fare ciò che per un altro bimbo e scontato.
Il sistema sanitario copre Il modello base aiutandici ma non la protesi per fare sport ne quelle elettroniche.
essendo Valeria una bambina di 9 anni le protesi vanno aggiornate al suo sviluppo continuamente con costi elevatissimi.

Valeria's Story
Valeria was born on September 27, 2013, in Patras, Greece, and currently lives in Rome. Her childhood was marked by a challenge that could have defeated many: in November 2022, due to complications from osteosarcoma, her right leg was amputated above the knee. Faced with this difficult reality, her first feeling was natural despair, but Valeria did not let herself be discouraged. On the contrary, in that moment of vulnerability, she found the strength to immediately embark on the road to rehabilitation. With such determination, Valeria was able to react to her illness with courage and patience. These qualities allowed her to adapt to her new condition with a great sense of responsibility, without ever giving up the desire to live each moment to the fullest. Valeria's family has rallied around her with affection and solidarity, striving together to restore a new balance and supporting her every step of the way. Her tenacity reflects the strength of all of them, who never cease to remind her how important it is to believe in your dreams. Because, as Valeria has learned to say, if you truly believe in a dream, you can turn it into reality and live life to the fullest. Valeria needs prosthetics that need to be updated until she's fully developed, to walk, play sports, and do things that other children take for granted. The healthcare system covers the basic model, helping us, but not the prosthetics for sports or the electronic ones. Since Valeria is a 9-year-old, the prosthetics need to be updated continuously as she develops, at extremely high costs. We appreciate any help that will help us address this situation. Thanks,
