Help Valeria Fight Cancer
Our amazing coworker and friend, Valeria is 45 years old and has been diagnosed with breast cancer in July of this year. The type of cancer is called Invasive ductal carcinoma involving a lymph node triple negative. For those of you who know her, you know that she is an extraordinary human being.
When she walks in a room, she is cheerful, loving, unbelievably strong and hilarious. She never leaves you from a conversation without making you laugh at least once. In our job, she always puts her clients and others before herself. She is a hard-working person and amazing human being.
Valeria was scheduled for surgery at the end of July to remove the cancer but because cancerous cells were detected in her lymph nodes, and rapid spreading doctors postponed surgery. As a result, Valeria will undergo 4 months of chemothearapy followed by weeks of radiation.
Due to this, she has been unable to work and will likely not be able to return until the Spring. Short-term disability unfortunately does not provide full pay. Some of her medical expenses are not covered and with the everyday necessities of life, money is getting tighter and tighter.
Valeria is one of the strongest, most selfless people I have ever known and is always there to give her love and support to anyone that needs it. She is amazing cook and was always making special cakes for our events, birthdays and much more.
Now, it's time that we send back some of that love and support to Valeria. Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated. Everything we can do to help and surround her with love is what is most important so she can focus on beating this thing. Please spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
