Valentin Morales sustained critical injuries when he was bicycling in Hoffman Estates on the evening of June 1st, 2023, and was struck by a vehicle. The nature of his injuries required him to be placed into a medically induced coma for the following two weeks at Advocate Lutheran General Medical Center in Park Ridge.

Unfortunately, after a valiant fight surrounded by loved ones, Valentin succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, June 14th.

Valentin was a father to two wonderful children, a loving grandfather to three, and a friend to many. He would be the first to offer his company to anyone hurting or in need.

We are a group of extended family who would like to do all that we can to help Valentin’s daughter, Adilene and his son Jorge, while they navigate the decisions that now need to be made to get him him to his eternal resting place.

As they reel from this tragic and sudden loss, the last thing that we want them to be worried about is the financial burden associated with their father's services. All donations will go directly to Valentin's daughter, Adilene Morales, to help cover funeral and memorial costs and mitigate any unforeseen costs related to his hospital care.

Valentín Morales sufrió lesiones graves cuando andaba en bicicleta en Hoffman Estates la noche del 1 de Junio de 2023 y fue atropellado por un vehículo. La naturaleza de sus lesiones requería que lo pusieran en coma inducido médicamente durante las siguientes dos semanas en el hospital Advocate Lutheran General en Park Ridge.

Desafortunadamente, después de una valiente lucha rodeado de sus seres queridos, Valentin sucumbió a sus heridas el Miércoles 14 de Junio.

Valentín fue padre de dos hijos maravillosos, abuelo amoroso de tres y amigo de muchos. Sería el primero en ofrecer su compañía a cualquier persona herida o necesitada.

Somos un grupo de familia extendida que nos gustaría hacer todo lo posible para ayudar a la hija de Valentin, Adilene y su hijo Jorge, mientras navegan por las decisiones que ahora deben tomar para llevarlo a su lugar de descanso eterno.

Mientras se tambalean por esta pérdida trágica y repentina, lo último que queremos que les preocupe es la carga financiera asociada con los servicios de su padre. Todas las donaciones irán directamente a la hija de Valentin, Adilene Morales, para ayudar a cubrir los costos del funeral y el memorial y mitigar cualquier costo imprevisto relacionado con su atención hospitalaria.
