My mom Valentina is going through the most difficult time in her life. On Sunday November 15th, she found out that her younger brother suddenly passed away who was only 46 years old. As she was going through a very sad and unexpected day, the tragedy struck her again the next day. On Monday November 16th, she got into a very serious car accident that almost took her life. The emergency responders had to cut the door of the vehicle open and rushed her to the hospital, where she had to undergo through three separate surgeries in order to save her life. The initial surgery involved repairing of raptured diaphragm which caused her intestines to be dislocated under her ribcage and press against her lungs and heart. The second and third surgeries were performed to fix her broken hip, femur, and diaphragmatic hernia. She had total of eight broken bones.
At this point she is going through an extensive recovery that is expected to be long and excruciatingly painful. She has spent two weeks in the hospital and is now in physical rehabilitation center to get her mobility back.
Unfortunately, since she is self-employed, she does not have a health coverage, which brings us to this page. Due to her current condition she had to close her business now indefinitely, which was already struggling due to current pandemic.
My mom is a very kind and the most selfless person you can ever meet. Whenever someone needed help, she jumped right into helping them out the best she can, it’s always been her personality. Over the past 8 years she has changed her lifestyle and diet to improve her health. During this time, she’s been studying a lot about holistic medicine and became very passionate about it. She has inspired numerous people who have changed their lifestyle and influenced by improving their health.
She is an amazing mother of five and a loving grandmother of five.
We would like to ask everyone to keep her in your prayers.
