Hi, my name is Steve McAllister, and we are raising money for our daughter Valentina.
She’s smart, strong, funny, and has cerebral palsy.
When she was first diagnosed we were told we’d never see her walk and for 13 years that’s been true. But thanks to a company called Trexo Robotics, a few weeks ago we saw her walk for the first time.
With regular use her body will get stronger: muscles, tendons, joints, bones. She’ll also develop new neural connections to allow her more control over movements, coordination, and balance.
We want to buy her one.
The problem? It costs forty-thousand dollars, we don't have it, and insurance won’t help.
This is where you come in.
First, please consider a donation. Even the smallest contribution helps.
And second, please share this message. The more people who see it the more likely we are to hit our goal and she can walk some more.
On behalf of our entire family, please; and thank you very much.
