Help Sofia & Her Mom in Starting Over

Sofia and her mom had been living in their sweet home for 20 years when they lost it yesterday to the Palisades fire. They evacuated with the bare minimum but have lost everything they own. They have been a part of the heart and soul of Malibu for 28 years and are absolutely devastated & in need of support like many others. 

The power went out during the chaos, and in the panic they grabbed whatever they could in the dark while being rushed out. All clothing, home furnishings, beloved items that made their home home have been lost. Sofia is an audio engineer & has lost the majority of her audio equipment including instruments, speakers, microphones, amps and sound systems. 

While they’re trying to navigate other sources of aid and potential coverage from their landlord, they do not have their own renter's insurance available. They are in an unimaginable situation, starting from scratch with nowhere to go and no clear path forward.
