Help Valentina Marie Fight DIPG!

We are Emily and Leo, the parents of the Valentina Marie.

On January 23, 2019, our beautiful, strong-willed, and creative Valentina Marie was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. DIPG is a rare and agressive, inoperable pediatric brain tumor that sits at the base of the brain (pons) . The pons controls essential bodily functions such as heartbeat, breathing, swallowing, eye movement, eyesight, and balance.

The only relief for this type of tumor at this time is radiation therapy & antibiotics. Valentina Marie is participating in 30 sessions of radiation therapy followed by the hope for clinical trial research with one organization.  

We have had an overwhelming, endless support from family, friends, and colleagues with positive thoughts and prayers and it is working! Valentina Marie is a strong fighter and much of this evolves from everyone's faith and guidance.

Although we are hopeful that she will overcome this unfortunate obstacle, we are in need of financial support for her and her continuous love of life.  She enjoys so many activities, and we would love for her to continue to explore these opportunities while she is well.  Our super six year old needs our help.

In addition, our family will benefit from any form of financial support to assist with additional medical bills, transportation, daily expenses, and all medical costs that contribute to future clinical trials and medical care.  We are by her side every single day, and because of this we are taking time off and future time off from our careers (most unpaid).
