I have always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. For nearly 13 years, I’ve worked as a vet tech in the small animal field, and my passion for animals started early. I was lucky to join the veterinary program in my high school and even graduated with a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) credential. I also volunteered for over two years at ZWF, a local non-profit organization dedicated to endangered exotics, including felines, primates, reptiles, and amphibians. After several attempts and years of hard work, I am thrilled to share that I was finally accepted into Ross Vet University!! Those of you who truly know me, know that this a HUGE and long-awaited milestone in my vet journey.

However, this dream has come with unexpected challenges. Last year, my father took my prepaid college fund and used it for himself during a difficult time in his life. This has left me in a tough spot, as I now have to cover all my upcoming expenses out of pocket. With important costs like my flight and university deposit due right before Thanksgiving, the financial burden feels a bit, well.. overwhelming to say the least.

I am reaching out for help because I truly believe in the path I’ve chosen and the difference I can make as a veterinarian. Any support you can offer would mean the world to me as I take this next step toward my dream. Thank you all for considering helping me on this journey!!
