I believe in the miracle of group prayer. I hope Vale's story will touch the heart of many people. Vale used to be a happy, friendly, fun loving girl; she showed her love to her mom by hugging her at every opportunity she had. Vale is now at the hospital on a feeding tube. She has been dealing with severe depression. It reached the point where she stopped talking and she was eating less and less until she wasn't eating or drinking fluids at all. No food intake at all for several days. She has lost so much weight and her body mass index now is dangerously low. We tried a thousand ways to get her out of that depression and to make her eat again but we were not successful. We took her to three different hospitals hoping they would do something to nourish her thin body, but we did not receive the help she needed. We spent Christmas and New Years at hospitals. Finally, we took her to a fourth hospital and that is where she started receiving proper medical care. We are so grateful for her doctors and nurses and the dedication and professionalism they have shown to help Vale recover. Unfortunately, it will take some time until her body reaches a healthy state. Medical bills have already reached $12,000 from medications, tests, feeding tube, IV fluids, hospital and specialists fees. Vale's mom has been with her at the hospital 24/7 without rest since she was hospitalized. I can't go to help her because I have covid and I feel so helpless now. By donating you can help reduce one burden for the family. Any help is appreciated.
Vale has a very sweet personality, loves art, likes to dance, is an excellent student and is very talented. She plays the piano and the violin. During her high school years, she played the violin and was a member of the orchestra performing at several music concerts. Once she recovers, we would love to listen to her playing all those beautiful melodies she used to play.
