Help Vale Keep Dreaming with Brain Surgery

Valeria is a young, soon-to-be engineer and is facing the largest health challenge of her life. She is just one semester away from graduating with honors as a civil engineer, but is in the midst of a significant health crisis. 

Vale is known for her kind, loving, & helpful heart. She approaches life and all challenges with grit and tenacity, and has a bright future ahead of her. As an immigrant, Vale has overcome the challenges that come with leaving a country in turmoil to build a new life. Despite these challenges, Vale has thrived in her new environment and her chosen career. However, she now faces a major and unexpected challenge; at just 21 years old, tumors were discovered on her cranium and hypophysis. 

 

Growth has been rapid since their discovery in October, requiring urgent surgery. Unfortunately, due to technicalities with the insurance policy and the impact of the pandemic, this surgery will not be covered by insurance and Vale needs help paying for this critical surgery.
