My aunt Val is one of the hardest-working and most caring people you’ll ever meet! She has spent her life behind the chair as a hairdresser, helping people feel confident and beautiful. Whether it was a fresh haircut for a job interview, a style for a wedding day, or simply listening with a kind heart, she has always given her best to others.

Now, she’s the one who needs help. Over the past few years, Val has been struggling with severe hip pain that makes it difficult for her to do what she loves most: work with her clients, play with her grandbabies, and live her life without constant pain. Doctors have told her that a hip replacement is the only way forward now that she can’t walk but the cost is overwhelming. As a small business hairdresser, she doesn’t have the resources to cover her rent or monthly bills while she is recovering from such a big surgery on her own.

We’re turning to friends, family, and kind-hearted people in our community to ask for help. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly toward covering the recovery costs so she can get back on her feet—literally.
