Vada is an Angel walking on earth. My life was forever changed at the ripe ole age of 17, when Vada M Wetzel and Troy Wetzel entered my life. Coincidence? Maybe. Fate? Maybe. But regardless, my endless prayers to God for a helping hand during rough times during my life had been answered. Now, I feel it is my responsibility to share her story, and help out the family that truly saved me, so many years ago. Vada selflessly took babies of all ages under her wing, supported them both financially and emotionally. She helped raise children, taught mothers and fathers the importacnce of the bond between a parents and child, and how important that was all before the child reached the age of 5. No matter how many words I provide or examples I give, the only way I can simplistically and comprehensively describe her is as a Living Angel. She is a rare soul that sacrificed money and comfort to take care of others' children while they worked to better their lives, which in my belief, was her calling from God. The job did not pay well or offer retirement plans, but her faith and perseverance in a world that doesn't value such a soul is admirable. A  couple years ago Vada was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She doez experimental chemo every other week, assuming her white blood cells are up enough for her to do it. With mounting doctor visits and medical costs she has had to choose between saving her life or having hot water in her house.  She has exhausted her savings and has been hit with unafforadable plumbing costs. $5000 to be exact. Please believe me when i say that a woman like her is incredibly deserving of the same help she's provided to so many in her lifetime. We live in a selfish world, but the good in humanity has a tendency of shining bright in tough times. I know some of you know her personally, but let no one forget how the smallest shift in events would place each of us in someone else's shoes. Souls like her's never expect repayment, but they deserve it more than anyone else.
