Meet Vacuum, Mop and Duster – three tiny kittens who are needing some extra help.
These little ones came to us from a pound at just 2–3 weeks old. While we aren’t certain if they’re actually siblings, they’ve stuck together through every challenge and are being raised together in foster care.
Since arriving, all three kittens have been battling persistent diarrhoea. Despite treatment, their tiny bodies have struggled to keep up, resulting in weight loss, dehydration and the need for intensive supportive care. They are currently receiving medication, milk replacement feeds, close monitoring, and subcutaneous fluids to help keep them hydrated and give them the best chance of recovery.
This morning, Vacuum suffered another setback when her eye suddenly flared up. Our vet believes it may be related to cat flu and a corneal flare, meaning additional medication and ongoing monitoring are now needed. At such a young age, even minor health issues can quickly become serious.
The costs of caring for critically young kittens add up quickly, but we are committed to giving Vacuum, Mop and Duster every chance at a healthy future.
We’re asking for your support to help with their veterinary treatment, medications, formula, fluids and ongoing care. No donation is too small.
Thank you for supporting Vacuum, Mop and Duster and giving them the chance they deserve.
