Help Uzi on his road to recovery

Hi, my name is Michelle Worley and I’m one of Marielle Zerba’s best friends. If you are here, chances are you know Marielle and you know how much she loves and cares for animals as well as all of the people in her life.

I’ve known Marielle since I was fifteen and there was always at least one dog in her house, whether it was one of her own, one that she was fostering, or one she found on the street. Dogs are her children and Uzi is no exception.

Uzi is full German shepherd and has the mentality of one, for better or for worse. He has high energy and great personality. He came into Marielle and Rob’s life at exactly the right time. He has been their rock through some very hard times, including when they recently lost their other German shepherd Nitus.

Now Uzi (and Marielle and Rob) need us. Earlier this summer, Uzi (being Uzi) chased after a deer and broke both of his front legs. Since then he has undergone surgery, faced multiple infections, and he still faces more surgery on this long road to recovery.

Marielle and Rob have endured a lot, especially in the last couple of years. They are the kind of friends who always have a room waiting for you when you need it. They are constantly giving and now it is our turn to give back to the friends who are always there for us. Please consider donating to Uzi’s road to recovery. Every little bit helps!
