Help UVCA continue after robbery

My name is Lauren Lankford, and my mom founded and runs the Union Valley Christian Academy at Union Valley Baptist Church in Nixon. I am starting this GoFund Me to ask for help getting the school back up and running. They are insured, but it will take a while before insurance can payout, and they have kids to teach!

On Thursday morning, October 14, around 6am, in the midst of a FLOOD, some sad excuse of a human being(s) broke into Union Valley Baptist Church on FM 1681, CUT their way into Union Valley Christian Academy, and robbed the school. The Ring camera only picked up one shot of the “man” before the camera was disabled. They stole the laptops (multiple) that the students and teachers use to impart knowledge and the Word of God to these children. They stole every bit of food that the parents had lovingly provided for their children - down to the last Capri Sun. They rifled through the building, knocking down partitions, televisions, etc., destroying what property they didn't steal. Most egregiously, they stole the sense of safety and happiness that the school has brought to its students and families. The sheriff responded as quickly as possible, and we pray that they are able to bring these people to justice. In the meantime, please beware of anyone selling laptops, or coming home with a truckload of food and snacks. I hope this person or persons have the ability to be ashamed of themselves.
