Subject: Support USMC Veteran Katherine Ragazzino in Her Fight for Justice
Dear Community Member,
We are reaching out on behalf of United States Marine Corps Veteran Katherine “Kate” Ragazzino, a brave and resilient individual who has dedicated her life to serving our country. Kate, now second generation, retired from service due to 100% permanent and total disability, is facing an uphill legal battle and urgently needs our support.
Kate currently resides in Dayton Towers, a residence where a devastating fire occurred on or about January 3, 2022. The aftermath of this tragedy has left Kate displaced for over 17 months. Despite her efforts to return to her home, she has had to navigate legal disputes with Dayton Towers, attending court in April and May of 2023. These proceedings have added significant strain—financial, emotional, and physical—to an already challenging situation.
Kate’s unwavering strength and courage are hallmarks of her service and personal character. Indeed, rather than give up the fight, she has filed a lawsuit against Dayton Towers in Queens County Supreme Court, in an effort to hold them to account for their failings. However, the legal fees required to continue her fight for justice are substantial. As members of her community and supporters of those who have served our country, we are calling on you to help ease this burden.
Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering Kate’s legal expenses and ensuring she can reclaim the peace and security of her home. Every contribution is a step toward justice and stability for a veteran who has given so much for others.
Please join us in standing with Kate during this critical time. Donations can be made via her gofundme, and your generosity will make an immediate and lasting impact.
Thank you for supporting this courageous Marine in her time of need. Together, we can make a difference.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Mahmoud
