During the year 2021, despite all the challenges we faced, the Escribiendo Sonrisas team managed to carry out different social and humanitarian activities with the purpose of providing education and humanitarian aid in the Venezuelan Guajira.

In terms of food, we directly benefit more than 1,750 children from 20 different communities on several occasions.

In Health we organize medical aid campaigns, attending more than 1500 children with general vaccination - COVID 19, medical care, deworming, vitamin supplements and medicines in general.

In terms of recreation and culture, we promoted "roots from our roots", activities that reinforced our essential values. We also celebrate the “Day of the Indigenous Child” with cultural activities and gifts for all the children.

During 2022 we rehabilitated two rural schools, we donated school supplies, blackboards, we painted all the infrastructure, we fixed roofs, and all this thanks to private donors like you.

This year 2024, we want to continue promoting education in La Guajira, we want to do various activities, and rehabilitate two more schools, and that is why we need your support.

Next July 2024 we want to celebrate "Children's Day" with a recreational activity at the Maliche II School in Paraguaipoa, where we will bring you food, toys, inflatable games, and we will do art therapy with your 470 children.

Our goal for 2024 is to benefit more than 2000 children and that is why we need your help to make this dream a reality.
