Help us with his memorial service

My name is Cinthia Irizarry. I am one of Jose "Cheo"Irizarry sisters and I am here to tell you his story. Onthe cold night of November 12th 2020 Jose Irizarry disappeared after being released from Cuyahoga County Correctional Center on an ankle monitor. Our family was unaware that Cheo was going to be released that night, since earlier that day we were
told he was not going to. The next morning, our family reported Cheo missing and officers were able to track his ankle monitor. It was confirmed that Cheo's last pin was around 2:00 am at Whiskey Island Coast Guard Station. We arrived at the scene around noon. The area had a broken fence, and blood stains on many areas of the deck. It was evident that something had happened. Divers went in the area but were not able to recover the body. A police officer told the family around 8:00 pm that in the sensors it shows
what looks like a body in the water, but they couldn't recover it because of how dark and cold the water was and that they will close the area so they can try again the next day. The next day came and supposedly the body had moved. There was no DNA collected from the blood and the rain of that night had washed most of it away. There was a sign on that
coastal station that said that area had video
surveillance yet when our family asked for the footage the personnel from the coastal station told the officers that there weren't any. No DNA, No video, No nothing. Our family didn't have any closure. It wasn't till March 23rd, 2023 when our family received thetill March 23rd, 2023 when our family received the
news that remains were found Hoating in the same area where the blood stains were found back in November 2020. The same deck!!! The remains which did not include his arms or head were taken to DNA and it was confirmed that indeed it was our brother. It has been two and half years of not knowing what happened to our brother, and whether he was alive or dead. Now that we know that indeed he is no longer with us we would like to create this fund to help us with his memorial service. We hope to cremate him and have a memorial to celebrate his humble life.
background story: Jose Cheo Irizarry suffered from Schizophrenia and depression. After losing our mother in January of 2020, Cheo started hearing voices that will tell him to go with our mom. In February of 2020, Cheo took his friend's gun and pointed it to his head. He called 911 and told him he kept hearing voices and that he felt he was poisoned. His wife at the time answered the door when the
cops arrived and told them that he was upstairs and that he begged her not to leave him alone because he was hearing voices. The officers arrested our brother and did not take him to get any medical care instead and did not take him to get any medical care instead
charged him with gun possession and kidnapping for not allowing his family in his home to leave the house while he was having a traumatic experience. He was released shortly after the incident and in November
2020 he was attending court for the case. The date was rescheduled for a few more weeks and they placed an ankle monitor so that they could track him and he wouldn't miss his court case.
