My family and I lost two beautiful souls on Tuesday, April 15th. It was a shocking heartbreak for my entire family. We are also left with bills, funeral costs, and a major cleanup of the home. Also, we need to find my nephew somewhere he can stay safely so he can care for himself. He doesn't get enough social security to rent, have utilities, and afford food.
That being said, I've never asked for much in my lifetime and frankly, I'm embarrassed to be doing this, but I see no other way at this time.
The average just basic funeral is $4,466 x2. We've discussed cremation and will decide depending on autopsy results. The burial plot is handled, I believe, but I'll have to check. Then there are lawyer's fees for probate court because, like I said, I would make appointments to get things taken care of and no one would show up or get dressed to go. I tried life insurance and she wouldn't answer her phone for weird numbers. But that's the past. I'm just trying to deal with what's in front of me. Thank you and my family thanks you.
