Hello all, my name is Byron, and I created this fundraiser for anyone who may want to help support my mother and me with regaining our items lost at our apartment fire that occurred on Monday, 2/1/2022. The fire started in the apartment right below ours, which directly affected our apartment. The flames went through the floor and into our bedroom, where mostly my mother's and brother's belongings were. Everything in their closet was burnt to a crisp with barely anything left. We had recently renovated the apartment's living room with new floors, couches, paint, and the smoke was so immense that everything -- even the kitchen, which was furthest away from the fire got affected. I am asking family, friends, and anyone else who wants to lend a hand to please donate to our cause. The money will be going directly to replacing everything that was lost; fortunately, we are alive and well, and were able to call the firefighters on time to stop the fire from spreading anymore.
