You can make a difference by donating today to Equine halfway house
We aim to promote good equine Welfare by working with owners, educating people and taking in equines in need for rehabilitation when needed, rehoming where possible and providing safety for life. We take alot of unhandled ponies and older stallions, we work with them at their pace to help them trust and enjoy human company.
But it's not just equines we help and I need your help for some of our non equines.
Binx and Boodles our 2 male pigs need a foot and tusk trim. Lilo our female pig needs a foot trim and silly Billy our goat needs castrated. All of this needs done under sedation. Our vet has quoted approx £300 for the two boys first. But id really like to get it all done on one visit.
This would mean, not only will they all be more comfortable, it will also be safer to introduce Lilo to the boys so she's not on her own (pigs are very social) and Billy could join the other goats here.
Also needing castrated is Otis, he is our latest intake and has already cost us time, headaches and transport costs that should never have been needed.
I dont ask for vet fees much. I usually pay on the day so no bills mount up, but my own personal money has been used up paying for orthopedic surgery to one of my own dogs, Hamilton, who broke 2 bones in his leg three weeks ago.
Our pigs, goats and ponies would really appreciate your help, as would i, no donation is too small.
Thanks guys
