Help Us Win the Battle to Not Be Homeless

We are a family of three, asking for help and for prayers. We need to come up with rent, which is $1315 per month.

We have no car, and the areas that have local jobs would require over one full hour of walking to get to, in the heat or cold, in the day or at night. My wife is disabled, and we've been sick from mold and mildew in the house. I'm trying to get a better-paying job, but I have no vehicle. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, and so, I'm thinking that, with a remote, work-from-home job, I could do some sort of computer or IT support, or IT Project Management job remotely. I'll even settle for a customer service remote job just to get by for now. I'm really good at finding jobs that I qualify for, and I'm really good at uploading and sending my resume, again and again, but I keep getting nothing but rejections. I just need one good job that will actually hire me.

Even if someone gave me a car for free right now, how can I afford even just paying for the car insurance? So, that is my present issue. How can I get to a local job with no car?

As for prayers, I've been married for 24 years, and we still love and forgive each other, in spite of our damages, injuries and inadequacies. My daughter takes care of my wife at home. We are all saved believers that want to stay together, and obey the commandments, and keep the feasts as well as we can, but we need to be rescued from these fears, insecurities and instabilities, and the feelings of being lonely, lost and isolated, like scattered sheep. Electronic video conferences of fellowship meetings, live or recorded, are not the same thing as actually gathering together with a group of believers. Where is "better" and where do we belong? If anyone has any ideas or resources, anything else helpful or encouraging for us to consider, we would appreciate any such communications to remind us that we are not alone.

So, we are praying for a good-paying, permanent job, and a restoration of mobility, and being able to be a part of a good fellowship again.
