we’re Karen and Chris. Sharing this is very personal for us, and honestly, a little hard. For a long time, we kept this quietly in our hearts—something we would talk about in passing, pray about in private, and feel in the small, quiet moments of our days.

After a lot of prayer and reflection, we’ve come to regret a past decision. It’s not something we take lightly, and it’s taken time to even admit it out loud. We’re not trying to start over or erase our past—we’re simply holding onto a hope that God placed on our hearts… the possibility of growing our family once more.

There have been moments where we’ve imagined what that could look like—the laughter, the fullness, the blessing of one more little life to love—and those thoughts have stayed with us. They’ve turned into prayers, and those prayers into a step of faith.

Opening this GoFundMe took more courage than we expected. We’re naturally very private people, and this isn’t easy to share. But we’re choosing to trust God with the outcome, believing that even this step—no matter how small—is part of His plan for us.
