Help Us Weave Haiti back Into our Stitches

support the production of our upcoming collection by funding fair wages for Haitian artisans and covering essential logistics for our Haiti-based pop-up atelier.

Campaign Overview:
We are calling on our community of supporters, fashion lovers, and changemakers to help us complete an essential chapter in Atelier Prajjé Oscar's journey—a return to our roots and an exploration of what fashion can achieve. As we prepare to unveil our new collection during New York Fashion Week, we are launching a GoFundMe campaign to help bring our production home to Haiti.

This year, we launched a transformative project: reviving the soul of our fashion house in Haiti, where our beading and embroidery traditions originated—and where our creative spirit beats strongest. With support from the Leon Trust Grant and Prajjé Oscar, we successfully launched the first phase of the project: a stunning new textile print developed in collaboration with the Atelier Prajjé Oscar Apprentices. The print serves as the foundation for the collection and is already in production. Now, we're entering the production phase—and we need your help.

Phase 2 – Haiti Production (Current Phase)
We are now in the most labor-intensive and vital stage: hand embroidery, beading, and garment assembly—and we want to do it in Haiti.

We are partnering with a group of talented artisans who will be paid fair wages to bring this collection to life through their expertise in intricate surface design techniques. By investing in these women, we are not only creating jobs but also preserving intergenerational skills that are at risk of being lost due to Haiti's prolonged instability.

This campaign seeks to raise $10,000 to cover:
-Fair wages for a team of skilled women artisans in Haiti, specializing in embroidery and beadwork
-Local production logistics, including workspace set-up, transportation, and materials
-Educational and creative engagement with our Haiti-based apprentices

The final collection will be presented on an international stage—New York Fashion Week, Philly Fashion Week, where Prajjé Oscar is already scheduled to present. This moment will be a celebration of Haitian creativity, talent, and strength, viewed by editors, buyers, artists, and supporters from around the world. Our goal is to demonstrate that high fashion can serve as a vehicle for meaningful economic and cultural impact, particularly when rooted in places like Haiti. No donation is too small—every contribution moves us closer to our goal.
"Returning to Haiti to produce this collection is not only a creative decision—it's a commitment to the people and the place that shaped me. In every stitch, bead, and print is a piece of our heritage. I believe in fashion with purpose, and I hope you will join us in making this project a reality."

Thank you for supporting Haitian artistry. Thank you for believing in a better future—one that's handmade, rooted in culture, and proudly Haitian.
