Help us Wash Our Hands

Hello all, my name is Mrs. Fernandez and I am a public-school teacher working at the Turie T. Small Elementary School in Daytona Beach.  As public schools begin to open and service children during this Covid-19 crisis, our teachers will have to work hard to keep our students and ourselves safe.  One of the most effective and preventive measures to avoid getting the virus, is to wash your hands.  Sounds simple, right?  Well, many classrooms that are housed in a portable do not have access to a sink with running water.  This makes it harder to keep our students safe and keep our students from spreading the Covid.  Our students and teachers deserve to work and learn in a safe environment and part of that safe environment means that we should be able to wash our hands.  Our teachers are essential, and our students deserve to be protected and learn in a safe environment.  Please help me and my wonderful 18 students raise money to have a hand washing station in our classroom.  This will help protect us and help stop the spread of Covid-19.
