As mounting pressure from Tennessee legislature grows, my partner and I, both transgender women, are in desperate need to raise funds in order to move to Washington state where the likelihood of our gender affirming medical care being denied is considerably lower than our current situation. We are hoping to raise a minimum of $4000 to cover moving costs and allow us time to find jobs and a new place to live. We’re afraid and trying not to panic but know we need to make the move sooner than later for the sake of our medical care and mental health. Please, we’re currently saving but with rent and grocery costs we need the supplementary help.
