As many of you know, Matt and I were both unemployed for the majority of last year and struggling to pay rent and various other bills. Both of us are working full time, but we’ve been chasing our bills ever since, including our gas bill. As of 11/5, our gas was shut off and we are now without heat. We owe about $1000 to the gas company, and they are asking for about $600 to turn services back on, which we cannot come up with all at once on such short notice. We had tried to apply for different services for assistance, but it’s never gone anywhere. I’m so tired of asking for help, but I don’t know what else to do. Thank you to everyone who has looked out for us all in this time, I don’t know where we’d be without you.
