Hello, my name is Kiara Crisp. My son and I have been living in a homeless shelter for the past year, and just a few days ago, we were able to move into our very first apartment. I am a single mother and currently employed, but my income is not enough to fully provide for my son’s basic needs such as food and clothing. Unfortunately, we had to throw away most of our belongings before moving, so we are in need of a few essential items to start over. i have applied for EBT assistance multiple times but have been denied, which has made things even more difficult. Any help or support during this time would mean so much to me and my son.
