I’ve struggled with this for weeks.

With so much happening in the world—so many people facing real and urgent needs—I wrestled deeply with creating this. But time is running out, and we’ve come to a place where we can no longer carry this alone. So here I am, humbly asking for your help.

This is really hard to write. Many of you have followed our story, prayed with us, encouraged us, and hoped with us. And now, we need your support more than ever.

After years of infertility, God blessed us with our miracle son, Emanuel, through IVF. His name means "God with us," and he’s been a living reminder of God’s faithfulness. For the past two years, our sweet Manny has prayed every night for a baby sister. His faith has carried ours more times than we can count.

In September 2024, we experienced a devastating miscarriage—losing two precious embryos. The loss was made even more painful when we learned it was due to a failure in monitoring my hormone levels—an oversight that never should have happened.

Not long after, we returned to Chicago, uprooting our lives for nearly a month to be treated by the doctor we trust—the one who helped us conceive Emanuel. We transferred our last remaining embryo, but the transfer failed. That embryo represented years of prayer, sacrifice, and hope, and losing it left us heartbroken.

After that loss, we took a step back. We felt led to pause and focus on healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. During that time, I finally received answers: a diagnosis revealing underlying autoimmune issues that likely played a role in our miscarriage and failed transfers. That discovery changed everything, giving us new hope and a new plan moving forward.

Now, we are preparing to return to Chicago to try again—with a protocol that addresses my health holistically, guided by a doctor we fully trust. But we cannot do this without your help.

We are raising $5,000 to cover the cost of this next step in our journey:

$2,000 is needed immediately to secure short-term housing in Chicago

$2,000 will cover the remainder of my medical expenses

$1,000 will help with a long-term car rental and other basic living costs during treatment
