Our mum has always been the quiet strength in our lives, someone who gave up her own dreams so we could follow ours. Now, she needs us, and you, to help her not just dream, but live.

My name is Majd. Life has taken me far from my family for many years, but wherever I’ve been, my mum’s love and belief in me have been a constant source of strength. She’s the reason I kept going, chasing dreams, staying kind, and trying to live with purpose.

Our mum is 61 years old. As a young woman, her dream was to become an actress, but life had other plans. She lost her father early, took on responsibilities young. She studied history and became a teacher, not because it was her dream, but because she wanted to build a better future for her family.

Now, it’s our turn to support her. Recently, she was diagnosed with cancer. While she’s facing it with incredible courage, the financial burden of treatment is overwhelming. The cost of chemotherapy alone is around €10,000, and when you add medications and other medical expenses, the total is nearly double.

As a family, we’re doing all we can, but we can’t do it alone. That’s why we’re asking for your help. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to giving our mum the care she needs.

She’s the kind of person who makes everyone around her feel safe and loved. If we can come together to support her now, we can give her the chance to heal.
