Hi, we're Angela & Bert, the creators behind BAZK Berlin.

We are independent jewelry makers dedicated to making one-of-a-kind pieces with a focus on sustainability.

Sadly, during the weekend of November 22nd, our studio was broken into, and all of our artwork, materials and some of our tools were stolen. The devastating loss came just as we were finding our footing again after recovering from a fire two years ago. To make matters worse, our work was not insured. Recovering from the fire had drained our resources, leaving us unable to afford the certified alarm system and safe required to qualify for insurance. Now, we find ourselves heartbroken and at a loss, grappling with the harsh reality of starting over yet again.

For a moment we considered walking away from it all, because it has been really tough for us after Covid, the fire two years ago and now the break in. But after receiving so much support from all of you, and with much reflection, we've decided to keep going. Your encouragement reminded us why we love what we do, and we're determined to rebuild stronger than ever.

In addition to upgrading our security, we also need to replace the raw materials and tools essential for creating our collection. Rebuilding our inventory from scratch is a huge challenge, and these materials are the foundation of our work. With your support, we can begin crafting again and breathe life back into BAZK Berlin.

To achieve this, the funds raised from this campaign will go toward:

• A Certified Safe

• A Certified Alarm System

We calculate that the costs of these upgrades combined with the cost of rebuilding our collection, will be around €10,000. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to securing our workshop and continuing to create sustainable, unique jewelry.
