Our Brother Jeffery Allen Wing, finally met with our Dad in Heaven yesterday morning when he passed away suddenly, after arriving at work and had a heart attack. Jeff, his family, 2 children (Diana, 6 years old and Cheyenne, 3 years old) had just relocated to Casper, Wyoming for a job opportunity.
This was unexpected and we learned later in the day yesterday that his cremation will cost $1,695, and we can’t afford this. The funeral home has declined that they have anything to help low income families pay for cremation services, and Jeff did not qualify for Medicaid, therefore help from the Department of Family Services is also out of the question for us.
Our family is also trying to help bring his 2 little girls back home, but this fundraiser is solely for the our purpose of trying to put him to rest and being able to afford his cremation. Any and all donations are appreciated, we aren’t sure how to bring them home or how to afford any of this… We are planning on a memorial service for him, once we get this part done, one service out in Wyoming for his close friends and family out there and we will hold a separate service here in Michigan for the rest of our side of the family. I will share updates on that as we figure things out.
Update: From the coroners report, we did learn that he passed away from an aneurism in his heart.
